Since you write about yourself, to be written and a few words about what I do inspires me to do what I do.
I think there's some greater differences among all of us and darker. We were Goths, metal, punk .. All connects us one term - Alternative.
We're special and stands out from other "normal" people. In every respect, from clothing, speech, thinking and listening to music. In most cases we have not accepted, condemn us because of who we are. I think many will agree with me.
Everyone has his own reason why he chose this way of life. While on the other hand, sometimes things just happen. One day you're part of a large mass, and the other day to catch in black from head to toe with headphones in their ears in which the band plays your favorite goth, punk, rock, metal..song.
when I was a little girl, I was scared of vampires, zombies, ghosts etc. Today, they are my inspiration.
I live in a small town where I was never accepted in the society, not even as a child. There were business people all around me with their firms, expensive cars and clothes, and of course, with the wrong mindset.
I was 10 when I went "dark", I think. I discovered new music, new bands, a new way of life. I was different and that was it. I gave people something to talk about. They were saying I was a drug addict, satanist, a punk.. This was so funny, but I felt wrong because of my parents.
I know all of this sounds strange, but my true inspiration is-REVOLT. In every way. Clothes, music, fashion, a state of mind.
When I was 10 it was hard to get a band T-shirt, jewelry or any other alternative accessories. It was like that, here in Croatia. Don't know about other parts of the world. These days new kids have tablets, smartphones, everything is available.
You can type "Victorian" into google search and here you go, everything you need to know. All the history, people, fashion. Speaking about victorian age, I have to say it is very inspiring. All of this beautiful dresses, corsets, ladies and gents. You can see, that I have a lot of chokers inspired by victorian age.
I love everything dark. Black is my favorite color. Who doesn't like black?! I love spiders, zombies, vampires, all the things I was afraid of as a kid. I think the most of us do, right? I use that elements the most in my work. Love combining styles, always trying to make something unique and special..
My work is inspired by lots of things. Sometimes, I even find inspiration in my sons toys. But if we are talking about inspiration in general, yes it is goth, steampunk, victorian.. all alternative life in fact.

I love black metal so you can see the rawness in my every piece. Even if it's beautiful victorian choker with lots of lace and gentle ornaments. There's always my tiny " black metal " signature. I like to think that way. It's up to you to find it
We all have the same taste, in one way. There are just different branches of the same tree.
So, to sum up: Definitely dark ages, gothic and victorian times, dresses and churches. Creepy and morbid things in all it beauty. Dark colors, twisted mind, horror movies, mixed all together.
